The first weekend of the “Golden Week” holiday. Yesterday I did some exploring of the local neighbourhood. Saw an interestingly decorated car, presumably a wedding, with the bride dressed in red.
In the evening I tried to watch along with my host mother, XL, watching what seems to be her favourite TV drama (那年花开月正圆), and play with XC at the same time.
This morning I went to church as usual.
English Corner has stopped for a couple of Sundays for the Golden Week holiday, because too many folks were away to be able to run it. But this meant that I could go to the English afternoon church service instead. I kind of wish I had gone earlier, as I met some great brothers and sisters.
In the evening I joined some of the new friends I have made for a meal. So happy.
